The Australian Grand Prix Corporation endeavours to provide a safe and comfortable environment for all patrons at the 2012 AirAsia Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix, including persons with a disability.

Ticketing

General Admission

Tickets for people with a disability are available through Foxtix on 1800 100 030.

A general admission wheelchair accessible viewing platform will be available at the southern end of the Gardner Straight stand. Wheelchair accessible amenities are within close proximity of the designated viewing platform and other locations around the venue.

VIP Hospitality

Accessible VIP Facilities are Red Line Club and VIP Village (Platinum and Gold). For more information or to book please call the AGPC Sales team on +61 3 9258 7100.

Concession prices only apply to General Admission tickets.

Pedestrian Entrance Gates

All pedestrian gates into the circuit are wheelchair accessible.

Getting to the Event

Coach Services

Return wheelchair-accessible coach services depart Federation Square Friday 7:30am, Saturday 6:45am and Sunday 6:45am. Tickets must be pre-purchased – call Foxtix on 1800 100 030.

Circuit Parking

There is a designated paid parking area for Patrons with a disability located alongside Gate 7. Cars will need to display relevant disabled parking identification to access this area. The dedicated circuit shuttle bus service will collect from this car park.

Circuit Shuttle Bus

A free wheelchair accessible vehicle will operate within the circuit. The vehicle is available for patrons with limited mobility and can transport up to four people including one wheelchair passenger. Priority will be given to patrons who pre-book the service by calling Dano on 0402 443 000 from Monday 22 October. A limited number of wheelchairs are available at the Event Office inside the Circuit near Gate 7.

Campgrounds

Camping sites and wheelchair accessible toilet and shower amenities are available in both Highside and Trackside campgrounds.

Campground tickets can be purchased through the Grand Prix Travel Office on 1300 300 701.

Companion Card

The Australian Grand Prix Corporation is affiliated with the Companion and Carer Cards to ensure all patrons have full and equal access to the event.

When the holder of a Companion/Carer Card purchases a ticket to the event, a second ticket will be issued for their companion at no charge, subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Companion/Carer Cards and not applicable for VIP hospitality. A ticket for a companion must be requested at the time of booking.
