Media Accreditation

As promoter of the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix, the Australian Grand Prix Corporation has a strictly limited number of media credentials available for national print media and radio organisations only.

Accreditation applications open on Wednesday 1 August, 2012 and will not be accepted any later than close of business on Friday 28 September, 2012.

Please be aware that completion of an application form does not guarantee accreditation.

All applications must fulfil the following criteria set by the international governing body DORNA:

• All publications and individual representatives will need to supply press clippings consisting of previous coverage of the MotoGP World Championship and/or major Australian sporting events.
• All individual applicants will need to supply a letter of assignment/support from their relevant editor to verify their application.
• The usual minimum circulation for a weekly print publication is 10,000 copies. For a national daily publication the minimum is 40,000 copies.
• Photographers will need to supply samples of at least 10 published photos with their name included in the print. Freelance Photographers need to prove the supply photos to at least 3 publications/agencies meeting the DORNA standards.
