Race Officials

MotoGP 2012!

The due date for registrations to become a Race Official at the 2012 AirAsia Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix have now passed.

However, we are still accepting applications, so register your interest to become a volunteer Motorsport Official if you have a love for motorcycle racing and want to be close to the action without actually being in the rider’s seat.

You will have a front row view of all of the on-track action, while carrying out one of many Official roles which range from the likes of Flag Marshals, Communications and Track Marshals. These are all vital responsibilities which ensure that the on-track entertainment is conducted safely. All motorsport events require a number of Officials with varying skills to perform a wide range of tasks.

New Officials are teamed up with more experienced Officials who will support and guide you in conducting your very important role. The training and experience you will gain from volunteering at the 2012 AirAsia Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix will assist you in developing your career as a volunteer Motorsport Official. You might even enjoy working on other events from the grass roots level to other large scale motorsport events!

MotoGP 2012!

2012 AirAsia Motorcycle Grand Prix Officials will be provided with a guest pass that will allow access to the circuit for a friend for all three days of the event, as well as the Officials BBQ held for all marshals on Saturday evening. Free camping for all Officials and up to two guests is also available. This is a great way to enjoy the event experience with fellow Officials once the sun goes down.
