The race was a thrilling affair from start to finish. Martin initially grabbed the lead, but Bagnaia quickly took control on the opening lap. However, the reigning World Champion's race came to a premature end when he crashed out on Lap 21, leaving Martin and Bastianini to battle it out for the win.

As the laps ticked down, Bastianini shadowed Martin, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. That moment came at Turn 4 on the final lap, with a bold move that sent Martin wide. The Pramac rider was left fuming at the maneuver, but the FIM MotoGP™ Stewards deemed it a fair racing incident.

Marc Marquez continued his resurgence, securing another podium finish in third place. The eight-time World Champion now sits fourth in the championship standings, showcasing his return to form.

Martin, despite his frustration with the final lap incident, remained focused on the bigger picture.

The race was not without its casualties. Brad Binder crashed out early, while rookie sensation Pedro Acosta saw his podium hopes dashed with a fall at Turn 15.

Fabio Quartararo looked set for a strong fifth-place finish, equaling his and Yamaha's best result of the season. However, a suspected fuel issue in the final sector saw him drop to seventh, with Franco Morbidelli and Maverick Viñales sneaking past on the final corner.

As the dust settles on an action-packed Emilia-Romagna GP, the MotoGP™ circus now heads to the Pertamina Mandalika Circuit for the Indonesian GP. With the championship battle intensifying, fans can expect more drama and excitement as Martin aims to consolidate his lead in the standings.
