Motorsport fans will have the opportunity to interact with their favourite MotoGP™ riders at Phillip Island this October, including Australians Jack Miller and Remy Gardner.
The Island Walk, a brand-new addition to the Animoca Brands Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix 2022, gives fans the chance to welcome riders to the circuit each morning.
Island Walk is situated along the riders’ route to the MotoGP™ Paddock and includes roving performers and a DJ. It will be the best position for fans to get a selfie or autograph with the event’s stars, with limited tickets available.
Tickets can be purchased via Ticketmaster and start at $30 for a single day or $75 for all three days.
Ticketholders will have access to the Island Walk daily from 8:00 am to 9.30 am. A priority Catch-A-Coach service for Island Walk ticket holders will run from Southern Cross train station in Melbourne’s CBD each morning.
Australian Grand Prix Corporation's General Manager - Marketing and Experience, Arthur Gillion, is excited about the new opportunity for fans.
“The new Island Walk is an incredibly exciting initiative and another opportunity for fans to meet and engage with the riders and their teams,” he said.
“Being a brand-new experience, we expect Island Walk tickets will sell out fast. So, make sure you secure your spot and hopefully score a selfie or signature from some of your favourite MotoGP riders.”
After a three-year absence, the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix returns to the spectacular Phillip Island circuit on 14-16 October 2022.
