Miller aims for redemption at Aragon after disappointing Austria result

Jack Miller heads to the MotorLand Aragon circuit looking to bounce back from a disappointing outing in Austria. The Australian rider and his Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team will be keen to regain their form at a track known for producing thrilling battles in recent seasons.

The Aragon circuit holds special significance in MotoGP™ history, particularly for current championship leader Francesco Bagnaia. It was here in 2021 that Bagnaia claimed his first premier class victory, fending off multiple attacks from Marc Marquez in a nail-biting finale. Since then, both riders' careers have taken different paths, with Bagnaia now a two-time world champion and Marquez set to become his teammate in 2025.

While Bagnaia arrives at Aragon fresh off a dominant double victory in Austria, Miller will be looking to put his challenging weekend at the Red Bull Ring behind him. The Aussie struggled to make an impact in Spielberg, failing to match the performance of his teammate Brad Binder, who secured a top-five finish.

Miller's focus will be on rediscovering the form that has seen him show flashes of brilliance throughout the 2024 season. The MotorLand Aragon's unique layout, featuring both clockwise and anti-clockwise sections, could play to Miller's strengths and adaptability.

The Australian will face stiff competition from a host of riders eager to make their mark. Jorge Martin, currently just five points off the championship lead, has shown remarkable consistency and speed this season. Enea Bastianini, despite losing some ground in Austria, remains a threat following his memorable double victory at Silverstone.

Miller's KTM stablemate Binder will be looking to build on his strong showing in Austria, while the Aprilia duo of Aleix Espargaró and Maverick Viñales are expected to be competitive at a circuit that should suit their RS-GP machines.

As the MotoGP™ season enters its crucial phase, Miller knows that a strong result at Aragon could reignite his championship aspirations. With 333 points still up for grabs in the 2024 season, the Australian will be determined to make every race count.
