Miller aims for home-turf advantage at the Red Bull Ring

Jack Miller heads to the Red Bull Ring in Austria this weekend, looking to capitalise on KTM's home advantage in the upcoming MotoGP™ round.

The Aussie rider will be eager to improve on his solid points haul from Silverstone and make a splash in front of KTM's partisan crowd.

The Austrian Grand Prix marks a crucial juncture in the 2024 MotoGP™ season, with just three points separating championship leader Jorge Martín from Francesco Bagnaia.

While Ducati has dominated the Red Bull Ring in recent years, KTM has tasted victory here before and will be hungry for success on home soil.

Miller's teammate Brad Binder currently trails rookie sensation Pedro Acosta in the standings after some bad luck at Silverstone.

Both KTM riders will be motivated to turn things around and put on a show for the Austrian fans.

The Red Bull Ring's layout, with its heavy braking zones and acceleration areas, could suit the characteristics of the KTM machine.

For Miller, this weekend presents a golden opportunity to make his mark.

After a consistent but unspectacular start to the season, the Australian will be aiming to challenge for podium positions and close the gap to the championship frontrunners.

The Red Bull Ring has been a happy hunting ground for Ducati in recent years, with Bagnaia taking the double victory last season.

However, KTM's previous success at this track, combined with their determination to impress the home crowd, could shake up the established order.

Miller's experience and aggressive riding style could prove valuable on a circuit that rewards late braking and decisive overtaking moves.

With KTM likely to have prepared extensively for their home event, Miller will be hoping for a breakthrough performance to kickstart the second half of his season.
