Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix 2025 dates announced

The Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) has today revealed the 2025 Provisional MotoGP™ Calendar, with the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix set to thrill fans from 17 – 19 October 2025.

This announcement comes nearly three weeks before the gates open for the Qatar Airways Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix 2024. Preparations are already in full swing to welcome back the MotoGP™, Moto2™, and Moto3™ categories to Phillip Island.

We’ll once again have at least four Aussies taking part in next year’s world championship with Jack Miller, Senna Agius, Joel Kelso and Jacob Roulstone all being contracted to compete.

All eyes will be on Miller, as he returns to familiar territory, rejoining the Prima Pramac Yamaha Factory Team for 2025.

Miller’s history with Pramac saw him achieve some of the finest performances of his career, notching up nine podium finishes between 2018 and 2021.

It’ll be fascinating to see whether the Queenslander will be able to help bring Yamaha back to the front of the grid with his vast MotoGP™ experience at Honda, Ducati and KTM. 

If you haven’t secured your tickets for this year’s event, now’s the time! Round up your mates and plan a day out at Phillip Island.    

This year will see some exciting new additions with Monster Trucks, a Beer Hall and Axe Throwing joining the off-track entertainment.

There will also be several on-track additions to be announced shortly. 

With just 24 points separating MotoGP™ championship leader Jorge Martin and Francesco Bagnaia, Phillip Island will undoubtedly play a pivotal role in one of the most intense title battles in MotoGP™ history.
