TAC Pause Stop

The TAC Pause Stop program encourages motorists to pull over, take a break and recharge so everyone can get to their destination safely.

Here are a few ways to avoid drowsy driving:

  • Be sure to get a good night’s rest before you travel
  • Take a break every two hours on your way
  • Take a 15-minute powernap if you feel drowsy
  • Share the driving where possible

Plan a Pause Stop at Visitor Information Centres or stop for a coffee recharge along your journey. Check the map below for a Pause Stop on your travel route.

A pause from the road might save your life.
